How the Doorstep Details Valet Trash Service in South Chicago Works
We start by providing each unit in the community with a 13-gallon trash container. Once residents have filled their containers, they can place trash outside of their unit between the hours of 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to prepare the trash for pickup.
Our valet trash porters then retrieve trash while adhering to the set industry-standard schedule. Our porters will show up on the property from Sunday to Thursday between the hours of 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Upon arriving, porters collect the trash from all containers using leak-proof satchels. They then dispose of the trash in the community’s dumpsters or compactors on-site.
Immediately following the pickup and disposal of trash, our staff will clean around the trash disposal area and will conclude their visit with a “Doorstep Details Report” sent directly to the property’s management team.

My wife Kenyetta and I have been happily married since July 23, 2023. We have a beautiful one and a half year old baby son named Rah Amir Howard. Kenyetta is a native of Oak Park, IL.. She received a Bachelors and Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has worked as an HR professional for 15 years. My wife enjoys a good romantic comedy. And has a desire to pick up woodworking as a hobby. Her main focus is our family’s enrichment. Our son is now speaking. Demanding only obedience. and cookies. I think we should have named him Stewie.😁
I am originally from the west side of Chicago, from a community named North Lawndale and I attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. I’ve always enjoyed using both my mind and my hands to solve problems and sought a career that offered both. I completed a four-year apprenticeship with the city of Chicago and received a Stationary Engineering license. I have been in facility management for 12 years now and moved to the south side of Chicago in 2007.
When hearing about AWS and their business model we quickly realized our moral compasses were aligned. God, business stewardship, white glove customer service and community philanthropy, will always be foundational pillars in the Howard household. For us, joining the AWS team is a privilege and a pleasure.
